Where to Eat...

Breakfast

The Good Egg, it is located on East Speedway. Whatever you desire in an egg they have! Their omelets are the best! Get there early!

Lunch

On your way out from Breakfast stop at Baggins Gourmet Sandwiches and get a ""Brown bag lunch"" to take with you! This is also located on East Speedway. Take at least two bottles of water! A small ice chest will be great!

Dinner

If you are looking for real Mexican food; Rosa's Mexican Food on Fort Lowell Rd is the place you are looking for! Warning most nights you will have to wait to be seated, check on reservations, maybe? Drinks and atmosphere! You will walk away with a true dining experance!

What to Do...

Morning

Head out to the The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum! This is so worth the trip! Do the one mile walk first thing when you get there in the morning! The afternoons get hot (120 degrees!!) and you will want to do the Air conditioned rooms with all the animals and shows in the heat of the day! There are water fountians all through the One mile hike, as a suggestion NEVER pass one up empty your warmer water back in to fountian and get cold water to go on with your walk! There are wonderful shady reststops along the way and seeing the wild pigs and other animals out there are amazing! Sunblock, a light cover shirt with sleeves and a hat are a MUST! You do not want to ruin your trip with a sunburn! If there is anyway you can get there after a monsoon (rain) comes through you can see the Desert Bloom! Some cactus only bloom once ever 50 years!

Afternoon

Lunch in the shade of the Desert Museum (brown bag style) and in you go to look at the scorpians, lizards and snakes. Ahh! Air conditioning! For kids this is a great time! They love to see the animals. There are also conservation shows on the side patio where they show Raptors of the Desert! Beautiful Birds! The grace and stories of the animals are worth the price of going in! The Q and A is a great time to learn about these creatures we share our world with! If you can make it to San Xavier del Bac Mission. What a wonderful living pice of history!

Evening

After leaving the Desert Museum, head on over to A Mountian, to watch the sunset! The colors of the evening sky as the sun fades over the hills that surround Tuscon are guaranteed to take your breath away! This little hill over looks the Tuscon valley! The "light show" of the city is picture purfect!
Head to your "Home base" Grab a shower, something nice to wear and a shawl or sweater!

Late Night

Vaudeville Cabaret! Time to hit the club! This place has just undergone EXTINSIVE remodling! Very Chic now! The bands that come in to play are loud and fun! If Clubbing is not your cup of tea, contact The University of AZ campus and see if thier Drama/Dance/Art Department is hosting a show! What a great way to catch an Opera, Art or Dance show!
